Woodcote Volunteers is a ‘Good Neighbour’ Scheme which has been established for over 20 years. It serves Woodcote, Whitchurch Hill, Checkendon, Ipsden, Goring Heath and Crays Pond. We offer help for the elderly, disabled etc and for those without transport who cannot use public transport and need to get to hospital, the Health Centre, dentist, optician, bank etc.
We will also collect prescriptions, pensions or shop for the elderly or disabled. If you would like help, please contact our office at Woodcote Village Hall on 681171 between 9.30am and 11.00am Monday to Friday.
The pool of Volunteers changes as people move in and out of the area. The need for help is a continuing one and the Organising Committee is always pleased to receive new offers of assistance. Please contact our office direct on 01491 681171 during their office hours.
